PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

As per census report 2011, the number of Persons With Disabilities in India is approximately 2.68 Crore and these persons constitute 2.21% of the total population. In West Bengal the total number of disabled persons according to the census-report 2011 is approximately 20 lakh out of the total population of 91347736 (the percentage being 2.2).
